One of your local NHS Trust’s, Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust will soon be starting its Governor elections.
Governors take part in discussions about our future plans and priorities, hold our Non-Executive Directors to account for the performance of the Board and tell us what our members, local people, patients and staff think about our services and plans.
Our Trust runs many NHS services within the Hull and East Yorkshire area such Adult Mental Health Services, Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Neurodiversity Services, Children Young People & Families Support e.g Health Visiting & School Nursing, Drug & Alcohol Services, Adult Autism Services, as well as GP Practices – in Bridlington, Market Weighton and Cottingham.
To stand for election, they must be a member of the Trust, live in the constituency for which they are standing and be at least 16 years old at the time they submit their nomination.
