NOTE:
*Newport Parish Council has resolved to only allow the purchase and grant of an Exclusive Right of
Burial in Newport Cemetery at the time of internment. At this time, it will be possible to purchase an
Exclusive Right of Burial in an adjoining plot for a spouse / partner. Dated 14th January 2025 Minute Ref 2025 01 11
*In exceptional circumstances, Newport Parish Council may allow the installation of a Burial Vault in line with the ICCM Shallow Depth Graves policy. Any cost associated with the installation of a vault will be paid by the Exclusive Right of Burial holder. Dated 14th January 2025 Minute Ref 2025 01 11
The above charges do not include Grave Digger or Vicars fees.
* Out of parish charges may not apply providing persons have resided mainly within the Parish of Newport within 10 years preceding interment. The council reserves the right to consider whether standard or out of parish fees apply on an individual case basis. The council’s decision on fees to be charged will be final.
