Newport Parish Council have a vacancy for an independent contractor at Newport Cemetery located at Main Road, Newport HU15 2UT (Behind St Stephens Church)
The work involves cutting the grass and strimming around the gravestones on approximately 16 occasions between the months of March and November. The contractor will be required to remove / dispose of the grass cuttings and would be required to provide all necessary equipment to undertake the work. Additional work will be available during the year including hedge cutting and levelling of grave plots.
The role is completed on a self-employed basis with the contractor required to hold Public Liability Insurance cover for a minimum of £2m.
