The Goole Go far are a community transport service for Goole / Howden and surrounding villages offering a Medibus door to door service taking passengers for medical appointments to Scunthorpe, Hull Royal, Castle Hill & Goole Hospitals, Allam Centre Hull & local health centres as well as Dentist & Optician appointments too. This is a vital service for those that maybe don’t drive or have trouble getting to appointments. Anyone can use the service the cost is £5 pp return (for those with a bus pass) & £10 return (without a bus pass).

A gentle reminder about The Goole Gofar Medibus Service….
The Medibus service ends at 4pm (16.00)
Please be aware any bookings made for mid-afternoon appointments could mean that the transport can take you in for the appointment but may not be able to take you home afterwards. We will always try and get people home again, but Medibus staff are only allowed to drive for a certain amount of time each day.
We are unable to offer attendant/help at Scunthorpe, Castle Hill and Hull hospitals. This is due to parking restrictions and the driver being able to leave the vehicle. We can offer VERY LIMITED help at Goole hospital, but again this is down to time restriction. If you require assistance at the hospital, it would be best to have someone go with you, contact the hospital to arrange for help or use the Passenger Transport Service
When the Medibus service is busy, we will get you back home after your appointment, within the above time frame, but you may have to wait a while until any other passengers are ready to go. We ask that you let the driver know when you are finished, and they will tell you how long they are likely to be. Please do not move far away from where the driver dropped you off.

Goole Go Far are also recruiting volunteer drivers to drive the Minibuses (full training will be given). They are looking for anyone who can spare a couple of mornings a week or maybe just a day every couple of weeks to join their very friendly driver team. Maybe recently retired looking to offer something back to their community. They are based in Goole down Carlisle Street.
